Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in classes or purchasing digital products from The Flute Room ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Classes

The Flute Room provides one-on-one live flute classes based on the Hindustani Classical Music system.

"Unlimited Live Classes" means students may book and attend classes throughout their active plan period, subject to available time slots and successful completion of the previous lesson. Each class focuses on one topic or skill, allowing students to learn comfortably at their own pace.

2. Booking Classes

Students may schedule their next class whenever they feel ready after practicing the previous lesson.

Class slots are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. If your preferred slot is unavailable, the next available slot will be offered.

3. Practice & Learning Progress

Our curriculum follows a structured, step-by-step learning approach where every lesson builds upon the previous one. Regular and consistent practice is essential for steady progress and a better learning experience.

Students are welcome to send practice videos for personalized feedback between classes.

4. Alankaar eBook

The 30 Alankaar for Flute eBook is a digital learning resource designed to help flute learners practice alankaars and develop skills such as ear training, swar identification, finger movement, note transitions, and overall musical understanding.

The eBook is provided as a digital product and includes lifetime access to the provided eBook content, subject to the availability of the digital delivery service and any necessary technical updates.

The eBook is an educational resource and is intended to support your flute practice. It is not a guarantee of a particular level of musical ability, fluency, performance, or learning speed.

5. Enrollment & Payment

Enrollment in classes and purchase of digital products are confirmed only after successful payment through our secure payment gateway, Razorpay.

After successful payment for a class plan, a unique Student Code may be generated. This code serves as your enrollment reference and may be required for future communication regarding your classes.

After successful payment for the 30 Alankaar for Flute eBook, the digital access link will be provided on the purchase confirmation page and/or sent to the email address submitted during purchase.

6. Plan Duration

Class plans are valid for the selected duration (1 Month, 3 Months, or 6 Months), beginning from your first scheduled class.

Missed classes, delayed bookings, vacations, or gaps between sessions do not extend the validity of your purchased plan. Students are encouraged to schedule and attend classes regularly during their active plan period.

Any extension of plan validity will be solely at the discretion of The Flute Room.

7. Digital Product Refunds

Payments for the 30 Alankaar for Flute eBook are non-refundable after successful payment, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

If you experience a technical issue and do not receive or cannot access the eBook link, you may contact our support team through email or WhatsApp. After verifying your purchase, we will provide the access link again or assist you in accessing the purchased content.

A technical issue with delivery or access does not require you to make another payment for the same purchase.

8. Learning Outcomes & No Guarantee

The Flute Room provides structured teaching, learning resources, practice guidance, and personalized feedback. However, we do not guarantee that you will be able to play the flute fluently, play any particular song, identify every swar accurately, or achieve any specific level of performance simply by purchasing the eBook or attending our live classes.

Learning outcomes depend on several factors, including your consistency, practice time, attention, understanding, previous experience, natural learning pace, and ability to apply the techniques taught.

We will provide the instructions, exercises, learning material, and guidance necessary to support your learning. However, your progress ultimately depends on how consistently and correctly you practice and apply what you are taught.

Every student learns at a different pace. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific timeline for becoming fluent on the flute or achieving a particular musical ability.

9. Student Conduct

Students are expected to attend classes on time and communicate respectfully.

The Flute Room reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without refund in cases of abusive, inappropriate, threatening, or disruptive behaviour.

10. Intellectual Property & Digital Content

All course materials, eBooks, lessons, exercises, written materials, videos, graphics, branding, and other educational content provided by The Flute Room are intended for the personal use of the purchasing or enrolled student.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, upload, publicly share, copy, or commercially distribute the 30 Alankaar for Flute eBook or other paid learning materials without prior written permission from The Flute Room.

11. Changes to Services

We may update class schedules, available time slots, instructors, teaching materials, learning resources, digital product delivery systems, or website features whenever necessary to improve the overall learning experience.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Flute Room provides educational services and learning resources only and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or learning materials.
